One of the most common questions we receive is whether Board & Train is a good option for dogs with separation anxiety. In fact, Board and Train may be the best option for anxious dogs. Not only does our Board & Train program provide your dog with exercise, mental stimulation, and a consistent routine, but they will also be surrounded by other dogs in training, all of which can help soothe separation anxiety.
Sometimes, anxiety in dogs is the result of not being properly trained, so learning basic obedience in a safe and comfortable environment may help ease separation anxiety by giving them more confidence and understanding of who is in control.

After a training session, when they are tired out, we put them away in their own air-conditioned indoor run. Being tired helps take the edge off of dogs who may be feeling anxious about being separated from their owners. The amount of time your dog is with us and how much time we train them per day determines the total investment. We will not recommend boarding your dog any longer than absolutely necessary.
